Unless otherwise specified in the schedule below, each one day, 10 hour class for New Applicants in Abilene, Texas, will begin at 8AM.  The handgun proficiency exam will be given at 1:15PM at the Abilene Gun Club, 6833 East Lake Road, Abilene, Texas 79601.

Renewal Applicants are not required to attend an entire 10 hour class.  Renewal Applicants must attend a class of not less than 4 hours.  However, the written examination will be over all material covered in a 10 hour class.

Renewal Applicants who wish to attend class on a day when the 10 hour class is being taught but do not wish to attend the entire 10 hour class must schedule their 4 hours of attendance with the instructor prior to the beginning of class.

Renewal Applicants may attend a class specifically designed and scheduled to meet the renewal requirement.  See schedule below.

Class Fees:  $125 for New Applicants and $75 for Renewal Applicants.

You may schedule a private class at any location in Texas.
